Many many options... I have a bag of these plus 3 more, Mousses in the 4 dirt bikes so just bought the cadillac stuff a few of us share a rabaconda too. If you are grinding your teeth, sweating, cursing, busting your knuckles, or pissed off then walk away. Come back in a bit. When it is done well I get a zen thing going on and its simple, the Riders that do dthe tires in the race are impressive. Allowed 10 min to service each day!

3.0's fit, close but they fit. I would pick a 2.75 for the front and a 3" rear. FWIW I can feel the knobs on the pavement, not bad but different, I used the stock tubes and slimed them both. I also hear lots more gravel caught in the knobs scraping the inside of the front fender too.

I do like the look of those tires and am looking for something a little more dirt/snow ready than stock.

This makes the bike look like it will actually "go anywhere" unlike the crappy stock tires.

I still haven't decided what size to get.
I debated a long time, from what I found researching 80/90 converts to 2.50/2.75. And 90/90 to 2.75/3.0.

Given the small power on tap I prefer to stick to the lower end of the sizing range and closest to stock. Although a little extra meat on the ground would be nice, particularly in the front. But given we're talking such small differences, it could vary between manufacturers too

Given that and 2.5 also gives you the option of the 244, that is what I went with. Should have them this week. I have some VeeRubber VRM 022 2.75s on order for my 110 which are a similar pattern to the 244. I'll post some pics and measurements when I get them side by side.

Side note.... A google search for VeeRubbers in that size will get you two links which appear to have them in stock. I went with Cedar Rapids Tire, who claim they shipped 2 weeks ago but still haven't given me a tracking #. I think they buy them from overseas just like you have to do with accessories for this bike. Point is ....it's looking like a long wait for the VeeRubber.

Here are the Shinko 244 2.50 and VeeRubber VRM 022 2.75 compared to the stock tire. The Shinko have the square center knob and larger side knobs. Both are narrower than stock, the Shinko the narrowest of the 3. Sorry the width pictures aren't at the same angle.

I installed the VeeRubber, no clearance issues. Have about 300 miles, 80% off road. The difference on the trail is night and day. No complaints on pavement, though I never pushed the stock tires. The VeeRubber are 6 ply, you can feel it in how they ride, and they weren't fun to get on. I got a flat with the stock tires on my first ride, which turned out to be a very soft piece of wood about half the diameter of a toothpick that went through the carcass between the knobs. For my needs and the remote areas I venture into I like the added confidence of a 6 ply.

They are both bigger diameter than stock as you can see. The 2.75 the biggest of the 2. I haven't really noticed a difference in top speed or acceleration like I thought I might.

One issue I have had is getting them to seat evenly, I've been able to get the front pretty close with some deflate/inflate cycles with a compressor and lube on the bead, but the rear still isn't right.

The VeeRubbers took just over 2 weeks to arrive, so don't let my previous comments scare you away, great tire so far. Haven't decided if I will try the Shinko or not, I live in the desert, lots of sand, width is a important factor.

I put the 3 incher Shinko 244s front and back. There’s definitely clearance issues on the front- had to remove fender to test-ride. It’s demonstrably different. You can feel the slight rise in CG and the bike doesn’t carve on asphalt nearly as nicely as with stock- just more effort required. Also more tire noise. I ordered the fender lift kit for the sake of time, but I dont like how it looks on the web. I may design a custom riser with say, 7/8” rise for my machinist to fabricate. If so, I’ll see what pricing looks like in bulk, in case I may sell them to forum members.
