Good Saturday morning to everybody. My name is Tim I am a former Marine and I live in eastern North Carolina. I sadly do not have a 125 yet I am actively waiting on a phone call from the dealership to go pick one up. My little machine will serve the duty of a Runabout in my town but mostly my commuter to and from work. The work to home to work trip is just a little over 7 miles and that Duty has been left to a Fat Tire electric scooter that I have been rocking but I felt like I needed a little bit more speed and the 125 does all that. I'm very looking forward to officially for real joining this community of people.

Yeah the dealership said the one that I actually had my eye on got picked up by a company that ordered three for their delivery and I happened to have seen those on their Internet site. So hopefully the end of this month.

Semper Fi. Old USMC 6337 here. I got my 125 a few weeks ago. This is a really fun little bike with some awesome fuel economy numbers. I drive roughly 9 miles each way to and from work. I am averaging 108mpg over the last 4 fill ups. My commute probably has a lot more elevation change than yours will as I live much closer to the mountains of SC. I still run anywhere from 25mph to 55mph during my commute. Hopefully you will be able to get yours soon and start enjoying the world of mini-motos.

Thank you my friend. I have come to realize that next January I will have been out for as long as I was in and I'm not sure if that makes me old Marine Corps or not but either way I was just 6216 knuckle-dragging Greasemonkey extraordinaire. For the sake of my own travel I have faith that this little bike will be what I want, and the event, improvise adapt overcome am I right LOL

You're very welcome and I'm happy to have done it. I am all over this forum learning everything I can because I'm one of those types. I already have the next four mods for this thing in my mind and I don't even have the bike in my possession yet.

Welcome and thank you for your service sir.

I'm sure you'll like the ct125 once its in your hands. I use it mostly now for a 40+ mile round trip commute and with the 100+MPG i fill up twice a week which equates to about $12-14 in gas compared to $100+ if I drove my SUV. Its great. Only thing is don't expect too much power and anything over 50+ MPH.

Cheers.

Well I'm not anticipating needing to go more than 50 plus mostly because my commute has a about a 500 yd line of 50 before it kicks down to 40 then I get onto a road that does 40 to the base where I'm doing 35 and 20. I have remarkable high hopes that I won't get run over LOL. In the terrible event that I don't feel safe I do have some Service Roads that I can take and avoid a lot of the traffic.

Here she is ladies and gentlemen my trail 125 with officially 2 mi on the odometer placed upon it by yours truly buzzing around the neighborhood. If you look closely you'll see what she is replacing. I believe the very first things that I'm going to do are handlebar risers because I feel like I need them a little higher for me. I also plan on doing the crossbar support for a phone mount. And last of the first things LOL is I think I'm going to paint the exhaust shielding black

Try rotating the lower handlebar mounts and if needed, rotating the bars slightly first. I only did the lower handlebar mounts of the two of those, and it made a big difference to me.

Well everyone she got tagged today. The lady at the license plate office couldn't figure out what the heck it was according to the title, and everyone who sees it thinks it's absolutely cool. I cruised in with traffic at 11:00 to work today and everything worked perfectly I am very happy with this machine. I did however place an order for some running lights because the headlight is woefully insufficient for my needs and happiness.

Well it's escalating.

Yesterday I made a run and got it to 57 miles an hour I was very impressed and surprised. Road to work today got home had my bar risers and support bar waiting for me got them installed. Oh my goodness what a difference. I have arms that are best suited for ape hangers but having these bars pushed up a little bit makes them a lot more comfortable for me. Now I wait for my package from Thailand to arrive with the next round of goodies and upgrades.

So pieces arrived today and here we are folks. 250 Mi on it I already have a lovely upgraded seat which feels so nice. I'm in love with the Bash bars because I have a Nutty notion when it comes to safety. These things have those wings that come out further and I feel like I would be better safe and guarded if I were to put it down. And last but not least a shift support. The install of that one was super simple I found it to be very easy and everything went off without a hitch the only problem I ran into the entire project was I lost one of those little black pushpin things oh well it'll be okay.
