Why did Honda make the cargo rack backwards as compared to all other CT’s? The raised portion should be at the back instead of under your tailbone. Can’t really turn it around and keep it secure because you would lose 2 mounting points at the top of the rear shocks. I’m gonna ponder this.....that is all.

so you can hang long packages off the back? i brought home a new desktop i had delivered to work and the box stuck out past 6" the end of the rack, worked great. i mean, lets be honest here, its not a 'next year development model' after the old cts. :ROFLMAO:

To keep cargo from hitting you in the back when you are on the brakes, and to allow larger cargo to extend to the rear out of the way.

You might need a different seat if your tailbone hits it, I'm more worried about sliding too far forward than back on this bike since there's no tank to squeeze between the knees.
I think it's positioned really well for the grab handle to be used for putting the bike on its center stand.

Maybe someone should design a fuel holder in front of the seat for our knees to grab. Or shins....🤣🤣
