It’s not the seat, it’s the rear shocks

Interesting - shock, not seat... will contemplate a set of these accordingly: Good price here regardless, but I wonder if 365mm (stock), or +20mm would be better?

Up one mountain trail, a great swimming hole! A swimming hole, with catered lunches and ice coffee. Fellow riders. Mountain house opposite swimming hole...

That sounds just great! Thousands of miles of logging roads to explore... great stuff! I can imagine getting lost would be a nightmare, and your navi solution sounds comprehensive. Yeah, I love seeing all the pics too. Interesting, as I was thinking of the Pirelli City Cross similarly...

    Kemimoto mount and side bag...

@jaeker as requested... Great price, and as noted in chat, the construction is great - the bag's main compartment double-run zip, cover flap, and drink bottle holder all work really well. The finish also wipes clean easy...

Wow! The number of rindo you've got to explore around the Elochoman River look just amazing. Not only the terrain, but so many trails, and little bridges. Jealous! It looks like you've got some decent navi capabilities on board, as you would need it to get home safely...

Well... there's plenty of rindo across our prefecture, but it is the tunnels I've been seeking... and going to run out one day I assume. Deer! The fawns do look cute - though they are a pest here otherwise. A friend down the valley has an issue with wild boar, and we've snared a few shika as...

I like bridges too! Kei capable here, and not much else... and again, why I bought the Hunter Cub was to explore the many similar across Boso Hanto. Running over the first one above, you come across a second... great! Even better, straight off the bridge you run through a tunnel. Bliss...

Looks lovely! I might try and get out this week at night myself, and hunt down some fireflies. In the meantime, here's another local rindo... I was grateful someone previous had a decent sized chainsaw. 'Off road bikes, do not enter.'

While I am not a fan of leach bites - as they bleed forever all over everything - the Snakes of Summer are a bit more of a concern. I've seen a few these last few rides, though mostly rat snakes, and not mamushi (a highly poisonous viper), or similarly aggressive keelback. I like the sound of...

Deep into the forest, this rindo took some effort, and I was glad for the Hunter Cub's light weight...

Engine plate, as in sump guard? How does that look, pics please!? As, mine looks like this now, and not sure it would benefit from any paint: My planned attempt at the exhaust heat shields wasn't to be high temp, just this stuff (which seemed to take the heat here, and the Hunter Cub should be...

Nice! I like the blacked-out muffler too, and was thinking the same (as I've got some left over wrinkle finish paint).

Path down to a river looked interesting, so I went back with a friend. The Acty 4WD can sneak nearly as well as the Hunter Cub. We came across a long lost kominka in the forest. Much agriculture has water tunnels all over as well. Sad kura and minka in need of some attention. Off...

Some great stuff there... thanks for posting.

That's a glorious looking ride, and I am amazed at the wildlife you've photographed... our tombi are not as impressive as that eagle. Kyon, shika, and monkeys abound though, and for some reason the Hunter Cub sneaks up on them all a lot easier than when in a car. Hope the knees are better...

Golden Week, and a few days off (and some exploring). Koinobori for Children's Day. I see that Totoro is working from home too these days. I love Showa-era exuberant futurism!

Yes! This is why I like them so much, as each one feels like you're going to a different place with a different view when you emerge.

    2026 Chiba Cub Meeting

We are lucky, yes, that's for sure... Happy to advise and host as needed. There was more than the pics above of course, including a lot of merch, food, bands, interviews, and an adjacent green fair too. There was a few sets of paired machines, and interesting to see in the US as well. Yes...

Electrified EZ Cub. Still one of the coolest versions. More Kitty-chan! I had to pick up one of their stickers...

    2026 Chiba Cub Meeting

My first ride was a Joker, and I still love their style. Bamboo knuckle guards! I thought the barrel was a top box, but no, it was a barrel and full of drink - which was then offered to me. The faux-propane tank was though a top-box. More Cubs than I've seen in one place before...
