    It still didn’t seem that serious to me. I felt fine other than my foot and taking up a hospital bed for it seemed unnecessary but I guess it was.

    I'm as normal as I'm going to get. I was on two wheels again 367 days after my crash when I rode the Yamaha home. Unrelated, my cat sent me to the hospital for 5 days recently and I have been off two wheels again so far in August. At least this hospital stay didn't involve wrecking a bike this...

    I’ve only had it a month and it is about dialed in with all the farkles I need to make it my primary transportation. I’ll be getting back to Booger and assessing the cannonball damage soon.

    You can only buy them from Helm and it doesn't cover everything. You have to buy the common service manual to go with it if you want it to be complete. You're looking at close to $200 for the pair.

    The 44P/50P are load and speed ratings of the tire. They take the same tubes. 17M/C means 17” motorcycle tire.

    Luckily, these tires are pretty pliable and easy to spoon. I've never used the zip-tie method but have pinched many tubes.

    hearing protection?

    Have you tried using a modular helmet? Flipping up the lid can help with hearing when you need it. Alternatively, filtered plugs (like Earpeace) do ok.

    I saw that, too. Their machines were basically the stuff you can buy off of Amazon but with better QC and support. Went to their place a couple times. Nice people. It’s too bad Honda blocked them from bringing the Wolf here.

    Have you been bothered with the wind noise?

    I didn't have an issue without a windscreen or with the screen that came on my nav tower. The Puig add-on was unbearable. I always wear earplugs
