The new ads at the top suck

Nevermind, it's fixed. All I'm going to say is Google is one invasive f**k of a company. I registered the site for Adsense, just to see what options there are for potential ad hosting vs a membership (paid supporter) program. Google automatically opted my site into an "ads experiment" since...

The new ads at the top suck

There should not be ads on this forum. Is that Tapatalk or a browser? If a browser, iOS or Android, and which browser?

    Steering Damper?

Has anybody seen a steering damper for the Trail 125?

Hauling on hitch mounted rack with RAV-4

I agree with this. If the rated hitch weight on that vehicle is 150lbs I would NOT go with a hitch carrier, no matter how it appears to be attached. There are lots of options for small and relatively inexpensive utility trailers out there.

No Brake Light with just Rear Brake Pedal?

Thanks, I'll take a closer look.

No Brake Light with just Rear Brake Pedal?

Is it correct that the brake pedal alone does NOT illuminate the brake light? The front brake lever does illuminate it, but not the rear. I've confirmed this is the same behavior as at least one other 2021 Trail, owned by a friend.

    Extended Warranty?

Not worth it for this bike. It's reliable. Bank the money and my bet is you'll come out ahead.

    Battery and tender recommendations?

Lithium batteries now scare me. If anybody remembers the Felicity Ace cargo ship that sank a few years back, well they're saying it was due to a Porsche lithium battery. Not a huge surprise as it was a car carrier ship but now it's more or less official. It's not just the car batteries...

    Battery and tender recommendations?

I tried one of these as well, and it seems to do a fine job keeping things topped up. HOWEVER, Noco made a strange decision to NOT go with a standard SAE connector on their included battery pigtail, nor on the unit itself. It's some X-connector or something. Deal breaker when 99+% of bikes...

    Maybe a bit of a digression…

I have no beef with ADVRider, I lurk there as well, but never got into the conversations much. My main problem with it is it's too big and lacks organization. One 555 page thread for a bike is just not good organization of information. That's why I like the more specific forums, they are a...

    Auxiliary lighting

Correct. There are two distinct sets of LEDs in each light. The ambers are a flood pattern, the whites are a spot beam. Two switches: one is the on/off for the lights, the other is a momentary switch that toggles in series between white, Amber, white/Amber, flashing white, flashing amber...

Sold 2022 Red Trail - Zero Miles

If it's like new with few miles, and I was in the market, I'd pay that. Throw it up on Craigslist and see what happens.

    Auxiliary lighting

And one other thing I've done on both these bikes is wire the lights so that they go on/off with the high beam switch. I've found that these aftermarket lights (well, most of them) are "off-road" lights in that they have no "cutoff" for the beam. So at night you are blinding any oncoming...
