    Sprockets

    I am running a 14/45 on my bike and i really like it. I think if I could find a 44 I would try that. The lower gearing works better for me out here in the desert where I do most of my riding. Not in a big hurry to get any where and I can still do 50MPH.

    I am trying out a set of Cheng Shin C183A Knobbies. 2.75-17. The knobbies work much better here in the Mojave Desert with all the sand we have, I ride 90% in the dirt. The only draw back is they are for off road only, not DOT approved. They seam ok on the pavement, what little i have done.

    Just calculated my mileage, 128mpg about 95% dirt trail riding

    Shifter Mod

    No problem shifting. I thought about a dirt bike shifter but decided to see if I could make the stock shifter a little better. I don't use the heal shifter much so the dirt bike is another good option.
