    Kijima USB problem

The JDM bikes have this in the headlight, but the USDM bikes do not. I'm not sure of a way to get around it without splicing. I ended up installing a tachometer first, which required splicing, but it also came with the plug that the USB/12v socket connects to as a part of its wiring harness.

    Soot at oil fill plug

I have the same on mine ~500 miles. I was also wondering about it, but it doesn't seem like a big leak if at all. Maybe a little bit came off the dipstick as I was checking the oil? Not sure.

    Bell Eliminator

Revzilla is reputable! I get most of my gear from them. They're owned by the same company as Cycle Gear and J&P Cycles. I have a different Bell helmet, but I've had a couple different ones and liked them. Seemed to fit fine based on their size chart, and I have an oval shaped head. Here's the...

    Brake light wont turn off

No prob! I was actually surprised with how good some of info is - sometimes that's not the case with owners manuals haha

    Brake light wont turn off

There is a brake light switch on the bike that the bent lever could be pulling on. There is room to adjust it, and that is outlined on p. 65 of the Owner's Manual. See pic below 👇

    Photon Blasters

Relevant video on the subject. This guy goes into detail on how and why bikes can be invisible to other motorists. There's a bit about headlights too, and how two lights side-by-side at night look like a car that is far away, rather than a motorcycle that is way closer.

    Everyday Carry

In my tool box I swapped out the "kit" that came with my Trail with another, more complete kit from a different Honda bike I have. Lots more tools and it just barely fits without the preload adjuster. If I'm carrying a cell phone (which I most always am) I make sure to carry a small USB battery...

Phone handle bar mount. What do you use?

I use a RAM mount. Super solid, I'd definitely recommend them.
