    Front Fender Rack

Today I recieved a great gift from our forum friend and all around good guy, G19Tony. He gave me the rack that he removed when he raised his fender and I've put it to use. I wanted an easy access place for a light weight first aid kit, and this will work perfectly for that. I wouldn't want...

    One man caravan

The Red Donkey and I are taking off this morning for a couple of days , we need an escape. All dirt road riding to the remote Barkshed camping area in the Sylamore district of the Ozark national forest. It's roughly 100 miles to get there, and I'll explore the area for a day or two. I can't...

    Let there be light.

I found a neat little LED bar light at Wallyworld today and thought I'd give it a try. I took my front rack off and welded a bracket to it for mounting it up. The first pic is the stock headlight, second is the headlight and the LED. I think I'm going to like it.

Day ride to try out new gear.

I got out and did 80 miles of dirt roads this morning to test out the new box and some new gear. I found an old logging trail along the river and followed it up to a rocky cedar glade, it was the perfect place to have lunch and rest up. Man I love this Little Red donkey!

    Old top box

I picked up another old touring trunk. This one isn't as huge as the old Harley box I got a couple of weeks ago. I'll post pictures when it's been painted and mounted up. I think this one will stay on the bike, it's 19 x 16 x 10", big but not insane.

    Out and about

Got out for a little over 60 miles of dirt roads this morning, stopped along the Strawberry river for a rest. These are brilliant little bikes for back road bumming.

    Two wheeled box truck

I was gifted a monstrously huge old Harley tour trunk. I'm in the process of cleaning it up for use. I'll be able to haul my camp and the kitchen sink with this thing

    Rough road fun.

I just came in from 50 miles of bad road, I had a blast. Here is a look at where I came from, and where I was going. Power line right of ways are always a challenge.

    Bigfoot

I had welded a 2" washer to my kickstand for better support on soft ground. Yesterday afternoon I was out riding around and almost everyplace I stopped the ground was soft enough for it to start sinking in. I came home and dug around in my tractor's tool box and found a big 3" washer, so I...

    New MOLLE "Pouch"

I needed a way to carry one of my tools around on the farm, I found one on E-bay. This will be very handy.

    Minor adventure.

The snow is mostly gone today so I rode out to the back of the place to check on the horses. The lake is still frozen but thawing fast. If you haven't been stuck in red clay and had to walk one out to solid ground, you just don't know what fun is! o_O The Little Red Donkey did a fine job back there.
