What do you think of the bike now?

I've been 3100 miles on it with factory tire and sprocket set up. It will go anywhere. It was exhausting when buried in snow or mud but I'd just muscle it out and keep going. It was hard. I almost let it go over the cliff in Oregon when I had the bright idea of going around some boulders...

    Electric start

Had a problem starting it with the button. Nothing happened and the neutral light got dim. Put the kick stand up and it fires right up if I push button. I see a little bit of movement in the kick stand that seems loose. Not a big deal just first issue with this wonderful machine.

Tire PSI - what are you running?

I usually give them a tight squeeze but I'm seeing some wear on the rear tire @ 3100 mi. Time for some dual purpose. I think it's made me a better rider using the street tires off road.

    Air filter

3k miles. I was in a dust bowl in Oregon and I've been really hard on her. Crankcase breather is next. Never done it.

    Sprockets

I did 64 mph going down Highway 26 by Mt. Hood but only 36 mph. going back up. They have loaded down 53 wheelers going up that can't go that fast.

    Sprockets

I didnt have any trouble getting up hills in Oregon. 1st gear climbed all hills I tried. I did get stuck in mud and snow pack but I would lift it out and this bike just kept going. I have stock tires and sprockets. I would like to try a 41t in the back.

    Motorcycles in Yokosuka Japan

I was on the USS John S. Mccain DDG56 from 2001-04 stationed in Yokosuka. Japan was awesome! I think I have some video of the "Desert Duck" rolling off the back of the CG 62's flight deck while in the Persian Gulf together.

    Sidecar

I found a company that makes utility sidecars for the grom, monkey & others but no trail 125. They do sell a DIY kit but I'd hv to connect it to the frame. How hard would that be? https://industrialmoto.com/shop/

⚠️ Warning about the S.K.A Auto air cleaner / air filter

I just checked my filter after 1000 miles with no rain for 2 months in the Oregon mountains and it's time for a replacement I think.

Size of pre tapped holes on cargo area?

Anybody know the size of scew I need to mount a crate? I see the cargo extender mounts into those holes and I've consider buying one but the online retailer doesn't specify the size of screws included.

    I am riding her hard

I had this baby out in the Mt. Hood National Forest for 5 months and it was one of the best times of my life primarily because of this bike. I've had it stuck in mud and snow pack but I just dismounted and picked her up and kept going. I was ejected once while riding on the banks of Clear Lake...

    My accessories

I dented the raised fender against the base of the forks it appears. The brake line wouldn't have done it but it seems to be in the way of metal. Maybe it popped out of the way...I kicked up some deer and I hope they didn't go onto interstate

    Security

I did not lock it up like a bicycle just wheel lock today when I went to Walmart just to fill up 2 four gallon water jugs and someone was filling a lot of 1 gallon jugs so I was a little worried it would be gone as I waited. It was different riding with all that weight but we made it.

    I am riding her hard

I don't know what I hung up on but I was propelled forward. I may hv stepped on the brake inadvertently. I am in pretty good shape for a 40 yr old but an injury would make it hard to workout. I wear pads and the helmet is quality.

    I am riding her hard

i ended up on the handle bars because the trail was dry and I hit the same hill a little faster and did not land well. messed up the mirrors but not like I can see much anyway. I will be a little sore but it was a lot of fun and she is still running strong. it did smell bad on the trail...

    Security

People are bold here. It's a minor nuisance to lock it up like a bicycle. I did look up some stats and it's not that common. A lot of pros will hv bolt cutters. I'll be in Oregon soon where I won't be concerned.
