Yoshimura Trail 125 2021 Race Straight Cyclone DOES improves performance. It was the claim "and a whopping 16% max torque" that made me give it a try.

Im new to this forum stuff, knida, hit enter and off the post went. Anyways, the bike struggled going up hills, downshifting a lot, I read that this was a common complaint. I ride in Southern Lancaster County PA, not real bad hills but enough, up and down constantly. I noticed a substantail...

Will the CT 125 electrical system support a Widder heated vest?

I ran 87 watts of heated gear for about 5 minutes so the CT can do it. I am told if you do it to much electronics overheat, can burn out. I have Warm & Save brand gear, run 11 watt glove liners (22watts) ran that with my jacket liner (65watts), so 87 watts, but only for a short time, no aparant...

How many watts available from alternator?

Heated gear. I put a volt meter on mine. Conected in the headlight bucket like that video shows but mounted to a GTR handle bar brace ( I did not dremel out the factory mounting hole). Added a cable for my heated gear (that battery is a pain in the arse to get at). Warm and Safe gear, got it...

    Soot at oil fill plug

Wow, several with the same soot, and at the front, like mine. Mine is just at the filler cap. I agree its maybe just a bad seal. I'm not worried about it. I put about 40 miles on it since the 100 mile oil change, no soot, yet, the thing runs great (I am not used to 9hp on the road though). Still...

    Soot at oil fill plug

Thanks for the info. Oil level was/is fine, checked it every ride, center stand, front wheel touching the floor, checking with not screwing in the dipstick. Got the airbox open, not a bit of oil in there, dry as a bone. I disconnected crankcase breather hose at the airbox, had the fill plug just...

    Soot at oil fill plug

Changed my oil at 100 miles (for a magnetic drain plug) and at the filler plug there was black soot/oil build up at the edge. Why? Pressure in the crankcase is coming out there, an area with a tight plug with an o ring. On a car engine the pcv valve would stick shut to cause pressure to escape...
