I take delivery on a 2024 Honda CT125 in May

My question is how many miles on your butt? I ride motos and bicycles a lot and dont have seat issues. I would bet after a month or two in the saddle on a regular basis your body would adjust. 40 miles in a new position on a new seat for anyone could be rough, contrary to first impressions...

    Cheap parts chain oiler

Agree, I do lube the 7 motorcycles and the 10ish or so bicycles in the garage, I just wipe off the excess after an hour or so. Suerte!

45 miles with the wife today

Thee wife and I ride a lot in Baja, went down the full FM radio set ups when we rode medical for some organized rides. They are second nature to me after many 1000's of miles of dirt roads in baja for safety and navigation. For some it is another thing to deal with and frustrates them. Glad...

    Cheap parts chain oiler

I had always heard the lube should be "in" the rollers, not on. Hence o and x ring chains? The oil on the outside would mainly attract grit to work on sanding the chainrings and premature wear the way my brain works...

    The “gremlin” bell?

Yep! Nothing better then cooking fresh gas by the gallon in the sun for a few months... And folding up your tent to go for dinner, beer or ice! Like the bummer part of a motorhome but people do it to themselves.

Should I get an old 110 or a new 125?

Both??? The 125 is 100# heavier but smoother and more reliable. I usually don’t know which one I’m talking to work until I grab the key in the morning. I do choose the 90 in the snow because I care a bit less if I lay it down, don’t want to dump either but has happened to the 90 when icy… I’ve...

Hauling on hitch mounted rack with RAV-4

+1 for a small trailer maybe?? From Flagstaff to Ensenada with a stop at a vineyard... The TDI handled it without an issue. Trailer was a single jet ski trailer with 3 harbor freight loading ramps, had some angle iron around and i learned how to weld on that bad boy. My friends nicknamed it "A...
