I was first interested in the 2010'ish NT700V Honda Deuville a long time ago for similar reasons... just came as a really nicely packaged bike, but it felt like it would be slightly better if offered as more of a V-Strom competitor. Now with the NC750X DCT, they've gone ahead and made the bike I thought that bike should have been offered back then. I'm plenty happy with the CT125, but I feel like bikes offered now are way, way better than when I sold my old 'Strom back in 2012.

The X in NC750X is meant to indicate it's an adventure bike, like the CB500X. Have you ever taken it onto green lanes, fire trails or the like?

I had a v- Strom it was one of the best bike I ever own, it was a little to tall for me and wider than nc 750 x as I am getting older not having the clutch was a big plus and in the sport mode it’s a lot of fun to ride .Never had it off road so can’t answer that question .

The frunk is a nice feature. I ride with a gal who had a NC700X before trading up to a larger bike, she always had plenty of room for bringing leftovers home on that bike.
