Just surpassed 50k miles on my 2021 CT125, can anyone beat that? Lost my job due to Covid and a bad economy about 3 years ago so I have been just doing Doordash and Uber Eats deliveries since then. The bike is great for deliveries! A lot of my competition uses scooters but they seem to break down around 20k miles. No motor problems yet execpt having to change a 80 cent exhaust valve gasket. Other than changing tires, chains, sprokets and brake pads.....the bike just keeps on going.

Nice! That's a lot of riding. Sorry to hear about the job loss, but hopefully you've been having fun working from the bike.
Not on this forum, but I know yohsuke750 was at 59k miles (actual number was in km) January of this year and there seem to be a few other riders in Thailand and Japan with over 50k miles. You might be holding the record in North America though!

Yep. It's the same as calling the Gold Wing a GL1800, the Dax 125 a ST125, or the Jeep Cherokee a XJ. One is the commercial model name used in marketing and such which can vary by region, the other is a more technical designation of model name, model number, or model code.

In the USA you can see American Honda officially refer to the bike as both a "CT125" and "TRAIL 125" here: https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/mid/home/displayfile/54f7f7e5-5b3e-4c29-825c-8b211c1e8c18

The Trail125, or CT125, is a motorcycle designed for both mild off-road and urban environments. Paying tribute to the CT series of the past, it's versatile and can handle gravel paths and city streets. The Trail125 was released in America for the 2021 model year and updated for 2023.

That's awesome - care to share any pictures? Would love to see your cargo box setup and also how you carry the drinks. Also curious - what kind of area do you live in i.e. dense city riding or more suburban? I do not know of any 2-wheeled couriers in my city other than Jimmy Johns bicycles but have been curious about giving it a shot as a side hustle. Edit: even more questions haha: What has been your oil change interval and what type of oil do you use? Any oil consumption between changes?

Below is my setup for food deliveries. I will add the links to the items I purchased to do this. This setup has worked great for me for 7k deliveries now. In regards to oil changes, I do them myself every 4k miles using Honda's motoroil via Amazon.com. With 51k miles now I do have oil consumption that I can only assume is due to piston rings, valve seals, etc on a engine that has been used for awhile. It's not bad but I do routinely check it due to the miles I am putting on per day.
