Just Finished up a roughly 550 mile trip this past weekend (Friday to Sunday) on the Trail 125. Honda did good, averaged probably 50 mph on most roads. Going down the steep hills I hit 59-60, going up the same hills dropped down to 38, some to even 36mph. That is with the 13/42 gearing. We camped out the whole weekend, had a frost the first night, rain Sunday morning. Highs were in the mid 50s all weekend.
Went to Cutler Bold Coast (no pictures included here), Eustis Maine and a few stops along the route.
Even on the 55mph roads, did not hit too much traffic, and if we got more than a couple cars behind us we would just pull off to the shoulder and slow down to wave them on. Overall we had a great time.
I have a flip phone so pictures are courteous of my brother/friend. They rode a '13 Husqvarna TR650 Terra, and my friend rode my 1980 Yamaha XS400.
Any questions let me know!
