Just found this site and have a ? about chain guards. My old bike has a rather crummy chain guard. Will the new 125 guard bolt on? From web photo's, looks to cover better = less mess on the bike

OH, forgot. I am also reading up on shocks. I'm 175 lbs and could use better ones if you want to make a comment on the best shocks to get.

Best is subjective and depends on your riding and what you're looking for. I summarized this recently for someone else who was interested so you can throw these terms into the forum search box and see what comes up. The suggestions below are for the CT125, not the CT110, you'd probably be best looking on a CT110 board for those but they might be interchangeable.

Front Ohlins FSK 161 HON CT125 TOP CAP & SPRING KIT $267.50 (fork oil not included)
Rear Ohlins HO 029 Ohlins HON CT125 SHOCK $802.50
----
Rear: Kitaco Gears HONDA CT 125 EV REAR SUSPENSION
Regular price$699.00
----
The YSS rear kit is pretty popular. The front kit has mixed feelings and reviews. Most people order them from Beezdeals. I don't have a specific model number here, just that the rear suspension is liked or loved, but the front suspension change is maybe ok?
----

Treatland rear suspension is what I actually went with. You can see my maintenance thread in my sig if you're interested.

The suspension mount itself has a different bushing size but the same size hole, so I reused the ones from my CT125 OEM suspension.
I had to adjust the length slightly from when it shipped, requiring a hook wrench or equivalent.
The suspension is stiffer but has a much better feel, no more worrying about bottoming out, especially as I'm a heavier rider.

There's also a stiffer suspension spring option for the front suspension:

I could have sworn there was a spring you could order from Amazon that someone mentioned. Can't find the post.

Additionally, people have swapped out the fork oil, and some of us have added Chimera fork caps, which is just a spacer so PVC piping would also work.

Finally, only mentioning this because it's between you and the ground, the Diablo seat also makes the ride more comfortable and even with stiffer suspension it doesn't feel as uncomfortable.
