Happened to be great weather Saturday, 70F and Sunny, after intermittent rain this past week. Took the 125 out for a ride along the waterfronts and some of my favorite twisty side roads that range 25 - 40mph. Wandered over to 3 Tree Point and enjoyed the view for awhile. About 30mi round trip.

I really enjoy riding my Trail 125; It's my first street legal motorcycle. I rode 80cc - 250cc dirt bikes in my teens and 20s. Took my permit and endorsement classes / tests on the 125 this summer. At 42yrs old, I figured it was about time
. I passed with perfect scores all around. Honestly, it almost felt like cheating doing it on the 125. Now I commute to work on the 125 almost everyday (15mi round trip).
Going to plan some longer trips soon, need to prep for the 2025 Scooter Cannonball. I will be filling the spot @Kev250R had. Doing that journey with @BaldRider and his team 'Masochists in Motion'. I'm looking forward to how demanding the Cannonball will be. Putting myself and the Trail 125 to the test. For now I'll keep practicing and riding in all types of weather. Gathering spare parts, gear, and outfitting the 125 to carry what I'll need.
This forum, and the people in it, have been a great resource. I appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness put into bike maintenance, parts, and trip threads. Looking through what others have done, or plan on doing, helps bring me new ideas on ways that I can make this little bike feel more customized to me.
