I love belstaff motorcycle gear/jackets!
I have a old vintage Mojave 20+ years,
Armor in shoulders and elbows - Belstaff still makes it- they call it Brooklands jacket now.
The 8 oz wax cotton is still holding up well and probably should be re-waxed!
And I have the proverbial trail master with CE armor in shoulders and elbows it’s longer in length and 6 ounce wax cotton, the prices of these motorcycle jackets has just gotten stupid-but if you take care of them ( rewax)
They will last a life time, I can attest to that!

no back protection? pass. I don't get gear w out spine protection. Mine saved me once, wont go w out it. especially at (now) a $695 price tag, there's no excuse for the lack of it.

"Zipped back protection pocket"
That seems pretty typical, it features the pocket, but you buy your own back armor to install. I agree though, if it doesn't have back armor it's just "apparel" in my eyes rather than protective gear.

Had some Belstaff road race gloves yrs ago, liked em a lot. That was before they became more of a boutique brand.
These days I pretty much stick to Alpinestars or Dainese for gear more engineered for a crash.
