BigFoot -- and remedies?

I am looking at buying a Trail-125 -- jumping back across years of bigger bikes and ATV's, and going back to the closest thing to that fun little Super-90 I had in the late '60's.
BUT: My size 13/14 boot is overlong for the CT-125's stock heel/toe shifter, and rubs against the right-side kickstart lever.
There are ways to fabricate replacement levers, and ways to modify the stock ones. Before I go that route -- are there any aftermarket "up-sized" versions of those two parts?

I rotated the shifter up on the splines, I toe shift only and now the heel part is out of the way. The kicker can be rotated back on the splines to give more room too.

The one thing I really want is larger pegs. Anybody knows of anything that fits? While on the foot controls something more crash worth that folds would be nice...

Splines-rotation = Good info. Thanks r80rt.
My 1100 Moto Guzzi had that double-ended shift lever. I never liked it. I eventually found a used-lever as a spare, cut off the back part behind the splined hub, and went back to up/down toe-only shifting.

Amputate your toes, should clear fine with shorter shoes. ;)

You would think that just about any shift lever with splines would work.

I tried to rotate my shifter, but it wouldn't come off the spline, footpeg is in the way.

You have to loosen or remove the assembly holding the footpegs. From memory though it's only loosen it. It's 4 bolts on the underside of the bike, 8x20mm flange bolt so probably uses a 12mm socket and needs to be tightened to 27 Nm. Then once you have rotated the shift lever, that's tightened to 12 Nm using a 10mm socket.

QuasiMotard has a full video on it if you'd like to see how it's done while sipping beer and not lifting a finger.

There is a extra long toe shifter from a Yamaha 650 that fits according to member "Bar None". I bought two when the recall of the stock shifter for faulty welds started . I now carry it in my tool bag just in case. the link to the web site, which was posted on this board last year is <https://yamahaxs650.com/?s=shift+lever>.which will take you to a search page on the Y650 page, you want the BigFoot. They had two types a standard throw and extra long. The latter maybe what you need. However if you use the stock as designed it should work fine if you don't mind the back of your heel hitting the rear down shift pad.
