After my first ride, I realize that my tailbone hits rear bar. BUT the double seat on ebay looks to short for 2 up riding with bigger rider. I need a longer SOLO seat. Any thoughts?

As I’m 6’6”, I installed the Motolordd long seat soon after buying my 2022. The padding is very thin where the seat goes over the bar. Scootching back past the bar puts you back too far to work. Sitting over the bar would be very uncomfortable. So, I end up just in front of the bar which is pretty much where you’d be with the stock seat. Maybe you gain a scant inch of room. I think the Motolordd seat could be a tiny bit softer than the stock one but, still quite hard. You can cut the bar off, as some folks have done. You don’t need it. That’d give you some overhang room.

I’d be interested to hear form folks who have installed a Corbin seat. Must be more comfortable. Perhaps the Corbin with the bar cut off is the best option.

I'm 6'0" tall. I went with the Diablo seat, which naturally pushes the rider forwards a bit due to the seat angle, and also flipped the handlebar mounts to the forward position. Note that if you do this, the fork end caps on the suspension will no longer be possible to remove without also removing the handlebars (small price to pay for a much more comfortable ride).

I realize this isn't the answer you're looking for. But, maybe you need a bigger bike. I'm 5'7" and wanted a NC750x but couldn't get my feet flat on a beautiful 2019 with 600 miles on the clock. Reality hurts.

I would love to have your problem, believe me, it's bigger than mine. Literally. Best of luck!! NC750x......

Oh, I’ve had bigger bikes. (My last was a V-Strom with a built up seat that I couldn’t even flat-foot.) I‘ve down-sized. Love the little CT. I’m just optimizing it as best as possible!

Adding a back rest could keep you in a more forward or centered position on the seat (if that's a comfortable location for you), and prevent you from sliding back on the seat far enough that your tailbone is hitting the grab bar.

Big +1 to the backrest. Having a well positioned crate and appropriate padding between the rider and the crate made me realize how nice it is to have a backrest on this bike, especially when I switched to my packout setup (which removes the crate occasionally, and resulted in repositioning it even when it is mounted).
