Can you verify the engine sound?

Alright thanks.
Yeah, you were right, even though the bike almost new, I still had to adjust the valve.
I'll keep observing the noises. Thanks

If it’s under warranty have the dealer check it. If they think it’s a valve adjustment issue take it home and do it yourself.

Ride it? Many many moving metal parts, it ain’t no Tesla!
I wouldn't ever bother checking such things as valve clearances, but my exhaust valve was too tight! I have a feeling it helped a lot, so I'll keep monitoring this. You know, there was a guy who got his bike brand new with oil on low, so sometimes you gotta check things, in my case, it has a little bit of valve noise. But I'm sure it's running ok now. I'll keep observing. thanks for input!

I’ve got 175 miles on my ‘23 and I also notice a “playing cards in bike spokes” sound from the bike on occasion. It doesn’t happen all the time so it’s tough to diagnose. Usually only seems to pop up when I’m in 3rd or 4th gear and, oddly, sounds like it’s coming from the front of the bike.

i’m still trying to figure out exactly where the weird noises in my bike are coming from, but it seems like this chain rattle might be causing some of them. Is this normal? I’ve only ever had fully automatic scooters in the past, so I’m not familiar with geared motorcycle engines and the noises that they typically produce.

EDIT: I did discover that at least some of the noise at higher RPMs is the license plate surround from the dealer rattling against the plate so I’ll need to get some foam or something to jam in there.

Is it the stock chain, and have you checked the alignment? Hard to tell anything from a recording as the audio often doesn't match up with the real world sound. Can you hear it under load, when the bike is crawling around in gear?

Something that happens to me is that when I am standing on the bike I slightly activate the kick start and it makes a noise. I haven't been able to hear your video and is of no use to you if you are not on the bike if the noise is happening.

Stock chain and haven’t adjusted it, so it may just be loose from the initial setup. After walking around the bike while one of my kids played the throttle for me I found that some of the noises that were bothering me were coming from the license plate holder rattling against the plate. I’ll jam some foam sheeting in there and see if that eliminates what I was hearing while I was riding.
