Bad Idea.. my Trail 125 is a fine piece of Honda engineering, and it does what ever I ask it to. I don't see it as a joke. The top three definitions of a Donkey are:

1. A domestic ass.
2. The symbol of the Democrat Party.
3. A stupid or obstinate person

Mine is none of the above. Which is yours?
Well played. I don't have one yet, but mine will not fit any of the definitions above. That being said, I imagine he's referencing the donkey in a positive sense: a humble, simple, slow yet strong and reliable work/adventure companion. Rides are sometimes referenced in equine terms. Therefore, if a 2022 KLR650 is a thoroughbred, by comparison the CT125 is a donkey.
But he can answer for himself.

This Forest Green colour is very nice! Someone is importing it into the UK with the red and beige ones, I hope the official Honda imports will arrive soon.Honda CT125 Forest Green JPG.jpg

Wanted brown but like most of the rest on this board have grown to like the red. I really do like the green too, better than the brown now that I just saw one I didn't know Honda made those?. I use the initials for the Little Red Donkey "LRD" (got them color coded with accessories one in red one in black) so I could say the black LRD to distinguish between the two I have. Sometimes in referring to mine collectively I say "the 125s". Used to have a sweet Suzuki 650 thumper and still have my Harley Anniversary soft-tail. Getting to old to pick up if I lay them down though. They make me little brown donkey my shorts when I try....LMO....:ROFLMAO:

I am a big fan of red, and this is a great red. That said, if the green, brown, or a camo version were available it would probably cause me a lot of conflict deciding which one to get.

Red is never a bad choice in a car or a motorcycle - just watch out for bear traps.

Id actually like to see a white one. I bought TDM white pearl bodywork for my grom and it was really, really good. Still have it, will prob swap it over again.

Red is seen a lot here in Oz, as that’s the traditional Australia Post delivery bike color. Thousands of CT110s around in that scheme, most are looking pretty faded now. We have the choice of Desert Tan as well but once I saw the bright red, I was hooked. I’d love to see a version in the old Trail 90 yellow, or tangerine orange & dark silver-grey.

I voted for Red, if the tan was available I would consider it too. Don't forget the Trail 90's colors: Yellow, Red, Orange. I think the Orange had grey covers, all had a chrome rack and rims. I believe the Trail 110 only came in Red, Tahiti and Monza? That's the colors I remember.

I like the red. I had an ‘80 model 110 when I was a strapping young 13/14 year old and I don’t remember it being as red as the 125. This thing is RED! I originally leaned toward the tan as it kinda matched my Tacoma (quicksand) but I’m completely satisfied with the red.
