I just did the first oil change on my Trail and had a couple of longer rides along secondary paved and gravel roads around some provincial parks. Today I visited some of the UNESCO world heritage site of the Rideau Canal running from Kingston along the Cataraqui River north all the way to the capital of Ottawa. Built by the British as a defensive route to deter the US after the War of 1812, it has 46 locks. I visited 3 of them on this ride. It was 24 C (75 F) with no wind and little traffic. Just a perfect day. The bike handled everything very well. I love it.
