Nice setup! A word of caution, if that aux fuel can is mounted on the OEM toolbox tab without extra supports it may end up breaking that tab which is pretty weak.

Finally got a red one and finished up the mods.Told myself I would try to keep it as stock as possible. But it was hard not to add all kinds of crap.View attachment 11776
Is chain alignment a problem with the offset of the 2nd sprocket? Opps, came in late on this one. Should have read the previous pages. 🫢

In short, not a big problem.
This is the second version of this setup. With the first version, the larger sprocket stayed put and the chain just moved over with the added links. The offset was quite severe and would have been short lived. (I believe the larger aluminum sprocket would have been chewed up quickly).
This second version, you need to remove 3 nuts from captive nuts and bolts which holds the large sprocket away from the smaller sprocket, push the larger sprocket off of these bolts, (which are captive with nuts which also act as spacers) towards the hub , rotate 120degrees to line up the large holes over the spacer nuts, set the larger sprocket flush to the small sprocket and add three nuts and bolts to secure it. The larger sprocket has 6 holes, 3 small to mount it away from the small sprocket. And 3 large holes to clear the nuts used as spacers so it can sit flush against the small sprocket. (clear as mud) sorry if my description is not written very well.
I timed it, it takes about 5 mins to convert. I did notice that the speedometer reads really fast. maybe 2x the actual speed.
I made this set up as I plan to conquer ophir pass in Colorado with it.

Thanks for the description, clear enough. So the offset is only the thickness of the large sprocket at most.

Yes.
Actually I did add washers behind the smaller sprocket to move it out over towards the swing arm.(Just 1 washer for each bolt) I needed that little space to clear the larger sprocket rotating over the captive bolts. Not much room to work there. So offset is just a tad less than the thickness of the sprocket.

Very well done, one of my other hobbies is a small lathe and mill setup, so I know how much work went into that.
One of the things that I like about the little Honda is the things you can do with it to make it your own and special.
Keep up the good work 👍
