Well I got my Diablo seat today, 6 days since ordering from Thailand !!
Literally 3 minutes to install and the difference is night and day. Looks fantastic too.
That's really fast delivery, where did you order from? I haven't had a chance to put the stock seat thru it's paces yet but considering I for sure plan on doing longer rides I'm thinking I should just order the diablo seat.

I have my Diablo seat on order and can’t wait. Of all the Honda bikes I have owned not one has had a comfortable stock seat but then I also suffer from that affliction of “noassatall” :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: so maybe it’s not Honda’s fault.
I also suffer from noassatall. I’ve owned more bikes than I can remember and have only had a few that were comfy. And they were 70’s and 80’s models. Nothing modern.

From my first ride I wished the seat was a little higher to get my knees lower. I thought it would help with using the heel shifter as well as making it easier to get my weight on the pegs. So the idea of a low seat never appealed- I can already stand flat footed over the stock seat. I recently ordered the K&H leather seat from WeBike Japan which adds 20mm in height, and promises that you can grip the nose of the saddle with your thighs to help in cornering (since we don’t have the tank in the usual position). The photos look great and K&H is known for quality seats, so I’m really looking forward to putting this on my Trail- unfortunately the wait time on made-to-order means November delivery. Oh well… my bum will be happier next season!
Did you ever get the K&H seat? Hows the comfort and the added height?

Can the Diablo seat still be locked so one could utilize the helmet lock feature?

If you look at the top right you see a photo of the stock seat.
The image at the bottom right is the Super Slim design. Much shorter than the basic Diablo seat.
Anyone have one on their bike?
wow... excelent catch and there's alot of heigth reduction.... I want it... Stock seats ? What a decline in .... chutzpah. We are not doomed, yet

My butt needed a new seat badly so I decided to go with the vintage brown “Diabolus“ by K-Speed. This model may be spelled differently than the others I don’t know. Web!ke had one in stock a little while ago, so I bought it. It was actually the lowest priced seat that they had on the website but the shipping was $81 plus the $111 for the seat made it seem quite pricey. Delivery was amazingly quick.
The difference in riding the bike now is like night and day. Yes it is firmer feeling to your fingers but not so much to the tush. The shape is the secret to these seats. What a joy. I am not sure how the super slim design works, because there isn’t much padding on this seat as it is, could be, that they reduce the height of the rubber under the seat.
I have never seen another red bike with a brown seat.
So I thought I would post some pics.

So based on positive review of the Diablo seat I got one. Well, here my experience riding with it. The position of the seat it perfect. It puts you on the back with that curve which is exactly where I want to be - feels great to ride. However, the material I am finding is very thin and hard. The stock seat is actually plush and comfy by comparison but it's position sucks and I can't get comfortable on it. The Diablo though, you feel the rumbles right up your butt which is taking some getting used too. Don't love that. Oh well.

I put the stock back on just to compare again. The stock is more plush but almost unusable after riding with the Diablo so I'll keep the Diablo on even with it's faults.

one thing, when i put mine on i noticed it would wiggle a bit more than i liked. this will allow it to buzz a bit. i made shims for under the rear rubber stops and the seat now sits firm when latched. just .02

Although the Diablo is harder, it passes the two hour ride test and I'm still finding the limit of comfort...the stock seat feels comfy soft but hurts like hell around two hour mark...

I've definitely been feeling the buzz and just talked myself into it being normal. I'm gonna try the shims to see if it helps. Only really a problem at higher speeds, but still would be nice to get rid of.
