Group rides can totally suck on full size motorcycles, but IMO they're a blast on little bikes. I challenge anyone to attend a local moped club's group ride and not leave grinning ear to ear.

My LRD is a reentry vehicle after 30 years since I owned two big BMWs. I haven't yet had the opportunity to join a minibike group ride, but I can see how it could be less likely to get out of control. Can you even wheelie one of these things?

Absolutely, it just takes more weight shifting than throttle work. I've found that using the front brake to compress the front forks a bit and then accelerating and leaning back when the forks rebound is a good way to get one started without dumping a gear change.

I don't think I'll try it anyway. Riding on two wheels is challenging enough for me!
