I have done my first 280 kms and burned first 5 liters of our 'regular' - 92 octane gas. My first impression is the same - I am really love this wonderful bike, and I am not surprised, that Honda can make the best utility motorcycles in the world!

A point of note on USA vs. Russia standards - we've talked about PON and RON on the forum before, and the Honda manual for the 2021 model says 86 PON or higher. The A-92 RON used in Russia is closer to USA 88.5 fuel, i.e. slightly higher octane than the 87 that I get at Costco.

Good no on the octane rating. Did not know that.
Russian fuel stories are interesting, and represent the "reassess what you thought you knew" mentality. The lowest grade fuel is wayyyyy lower, something like 76 octane - something pretty much unheard of in the USA. If you ever get a chance to hear Austin Vince talk about Mondo Enduro, he'll talk about the lower grade fuel in Russia being just fine for his low compression thumper and how Ewan and Charlie would have had to pretty much run premium everywhere. There's more than a handful of rural Russia ADV rider videos having their BMW fuel pumps killed by fuel that needed to be filtered first too, which is one reason why carb'd bike would have a slight advantage there.

Second fun fact about fuel stations - the Russian word for a gas station is something close to "Benzin" in pronunciation, aka close to Benzene the chemical compound (despite gasoline not being a significant component benzene). There's a somewhat long story behind that, but it does make it easier to pick them out in videos.

It should be noted that 80th gasoline has not been seen on sale for 15 years, but it is also true that in the wilderness you can find donkey urine instead of fuel)))
I fill up at gas stations of well-known oil companies, and my cars and motorcycles have never broken down due to poor quality fuel.

Makes sense. Mondo Enduro and Terra Circa were completed in the mid-90s. I know A-76 is still in production today, but not if it's sold to stations for use as fuel.
