How to Use the Center Stand

Stand on the center stand lever and pull up, right? Makes it so much easier. Even for a fat rider like myself, I use these to make it easier and safer to lift the bike onto the center stand with less rocking force.

Sometimes Touratech et al will put on a show where they have a short woman with a fully loaded ADV bike demonstrating things. It's always worth asking how they do the common tasks on a bike to see if they offer some new tips (like Doodle on a Motorcycle). Even as a taller rider, those tips can come in handy when getting on something like a 990 Adventure with gear strapped to the back, or even the CT125 with a rather tall crate on the back.

See my post SHORTER RIDERS - videos on that.

Some of that type of videos are awesome.
they can give excellent advice such as how to (more easily) put your bike back upright on its wheels.
worth a look for sure.
