I live in CA and bought mine in WA, so I can relate to the willingness to travel.
I did a 1000 mile search everyday on searchtempest.com until I found one for a reasonable price, it took a few months but when I found one 19 hours away for $5k, I got in my truck and drove. It's not easy but it's totally worth it. I'm sure if you use the same strategy it will work out for you eventually, Good luck!

that is awesome yes been searching mostly on motorcycle trader but will try searchtempest.com also thank you - I just love these bikes and your lucky guy you must be enjoying the trail! I hope your right would love to have one for the summer thanks again
