It's only been a few months, but I cannot get my CT 125 out of my head.

I had a baaad experience with my 2024, for anyone who followed along with my previous threads... and had to just get rid of it in the end. Drove me nuts.

All my life, if I had a bad experience with a bike, I would turn my back and never buy that model again... but something is different about the CT125.

Or maybe something is different about me...

Life happens. Sometimes you get a lemon. And no lemonade. Do you just ALWAYS hit the 'Eff It' button? Or do you sometimes say... "So what?"

Well, the 'so what?' has turned out to be a new grey color Trail 125 on the way. I just love that color. Should be at the dealer in a couple of weeks.

Man, I'm so excited again. I just LOVED riding the bike when it actually worked :)

Can't wait... and lots of summer left to ride!

Welcome back! I'm with you as I generally don't buy vehicles I've owned previously, but I too would make an exception for a CT! Good luck with your new bike!!

Mine made me mad with less than 100 miles on it, I went down the road for a Wendy's burger and it wouldn't start when I went to leave. It just cranked, I sat there a while cranking it with the kick starter and it finally sputtered to life. Been good ever since though.

My 21 has been awesome.
But I thought I wanted bigger faster so I went to the stealership and was ready to pay the price for a 300 rally I sat on it and it was nice, fit me better and maybe made more sense then the cub.
But it was ordinary. Just another motorcycle. So I have renewed interest and I know it will be in my life for a long time to come.
By the way, how many miles do we have on these bikes ?
Mine has just over 13000

This was the case with a Kawasaki Super Sherpa I had 20 years ago. I loved that bike in terms of looks, handling etc, but I had nothing but trouble with it. Just mainly hard starting, and with a tiny battery for electric start and no kick starter I was always push starting it. Replaced 2 batteries which were very expensive. I finally had to let it go.
My Sherpa in its usual form of travel (back of pickup).
