Has anyone mounted these up? I just got a flat way up a mountain/forest road and want to install some good knobbies and perhaps a heavy duty tube. thx.

If you search YouTube there are lot of folks in Japan running them. I looked at them and like that they come in the same size as the OE tires, but couldn't find them without paying international shipping. Curious to hear how they are if you end up with them. I am running heavy duty tubes, Double Tough Inner Tubes TR-6, 2.75-3.00x17, in my Shinko SR241 2.75" tires and recommend the heavy duty tubes for being easier to work with. I haven't had to patch them yet but I also suspect they might hold a patch better than the OEM tubes.

Wrote to IRC to see why they can't import them to the USA. It's one of the first things I want to do to the CT is put a proper dual-sport tire on it and I like this particular tire. Hopefully IRC will bring them over.

I've got several months on these tires now, and really like them. You won't be leaning into any turns, but that's fine with me. They were fairly easy to mount up.

Where did you get them? I have been looking all over.

Oooops, I probably should have mentioned I live in Japan - so they're available on Amazon here. You might try logging into Amazon (US), switching countries (the website is bi-lingual) and seeing if they can be shipped. I am able to have a lot of difficult to obtain items shipped to Japan from US on Amazon without much difficulty. Your next bet would be Rakuten. Their international website has English, but you'd have to use a web translator on their Japan website. Prices are all over the place but its 130 JPY to the USD right now, so could be a bargain. Try: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/TIRE-...s=gp22&qid=1652152359&sprefix=,aps,355&sr=8-2
