Is it too early to start planning a rally?

I know 2021 is still sorta wonky, but I don't see any reason we can't start talking about possible location(s) for a Trail 125 Rally.

I can be an active planner for an Eastern rally, since I live in PA.

Please feel free to share thoughts on locations, timing, etc in this thread.

How about something along the OH/WV border, between KY and PA?

Lots of good riding and camping there. And pretty mild weather wise.

Or the Hatfield McCoy area has some trails that would work...

Either area works great for me. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them.

In 6-12 months when mine comes in I can help plan something out west. I'm in AZ, in the White Mountains where there are lots of good trails and forest/country roads to ride.

I wonder how many are actually in the hands of owners now. I've paid for mine in full. It's at a dealership in Florida awaiting the shipper to pick it up.

I don't know. Salesman in AZ said that "the first 1200 went to all of the dealers - each got one." So I'm guessing somewhere around there, because I can't imagine there are any still sitting at dealers.

Hello neighbor I’m in Jersey, and that sounds like a great idea.

I will be in Oregon this summer. When I transport my trail bike on a hitch carrier do I need to cover it or anything to protect from rain or whatever???? I know it has the sight glass and drain under the seat for the air intake I think but never done it so thought I would ask.

Nope. Cycles are made to get wet. The Trail 125 especially has a high air intake that is baffled against regular rain. Nothing to worry about.
