I relocated my tool box to beside the head light. My Allen screw that opens it is almost completely wallowed out. Anybody know if just that can be replaced?

I agree it looks odd, and there is no corresponding aluminum toolbox body that I could find. If there were, your tools might make a lot of noise in it. Maybe just a bit of dress up bling, like having a chromed differential cover on a lifted 4x4.

A better latch mechanism could probably be 3D printed for the OEM toolbox. I have a reusable zip-tie securing mine same as others have suggested.

... To be honest, I never really thought about it, but if I did, it'd probably be pretty close to designing a press fit medicine bottle closure mechanism and the whole lid would move (like a Nescafe House Blend bottle, where even if it's a square lid, the whole lid rotates). I don't really consider these worth locking since you can unbolt them and take them with you in about 15s.

I like that idea. A smaller carabiner might better limit how far the lid could flop open, if it were to flop open.

Found an old sticker in my sticker bag. Reflective. I’ve had it about 10 years I don’t know that it will stay.
