A very simple add on for the kick starter. My old 1984 Trail 110 had a rubber cover for the kick starter and I thought one would be nice on the Trail 125. Found it on Amazon, about $10.00. Fits prefect and works good!

I ordered one as well. thanks for link. cheap easy upgrade. and anyone who has had their foot slip off a metal kicker will appreciate this for sure. (even though i never use the one on the trail)

I have to admit I hadn't used my kick starter much but now I use it more now that I have the rubber cover on it!

Last bike I kick started was a 1967 Suzuki X6 which I bought new. My three current bikes have kick starters which I have never used.
Had a 650 BSA that was kick only.
X6 on the way down to British Honduras now Belize.

I have bought bikes without a kicker so yes I would buy a bike without a kicker.
Always keep a good battery in my bikes.

For $10 dollars I had to have one. I think it will look good and probably be better if I do use it. Thanks for the info. EE

I just got a pack of three on eBay for $10.10 delivered. It looks factory on your bike, thanks for posting this tip.
