Today I learned something I should have already known. I was hooliganing it up on an abandoned/overgrown bmx track and got a little more air than I intended, not crazy mind you, but a good amount. Bottomed out the suspension HARD, didn’t lose the bike at all but I think I knocked both wheels hard enough they are going to have to be trued. It’s a Honda TRAIL, not a dirt bike!

Glad you kept it under control. I'm ~140 lbs minus gear and bottomed out the stock suspension just hitting speed bumps around town. Haven't bottomed out my upgraded Ohlins suspension yet, but I did bike swap with a slightly larger friend on some trails and watched him repeatedly bottom it out... I was horrified for a bit but no damage done other than psychological.

I was a avid dirt biker back in my youth but I think I would be the one who breaks trying to ride like I did.
