Are the 125 Trails ever going to be offered with a 5-speed clutched manual transmission? I would be a lot more interested in getting one if that was an option! Or are they just going to hold off until the sales start to taper off for the one available and slowly offer "new" upgrades yearly

a manual would be awesome, especially with the new 5 speed they offer in the grom. so, the 'parts' do exist to do it in hondas assembly bins. IMHO, id bet they will eventually offer a version with the grom motor as a 'street' or 'urban' version. Remember, the 5 speed in the grom came about due to the aftermarket driving its appeal (theres 2 companies making 5 speeds offered to retrofit pre 2021 models).

or make it what you want. I will never ride mine in the dirt.. its meant, for me, to go to and from work on and occasionally jump a curb here and there. I find it humorous that on a board where people will add 3 or 4 racks and toolboxes and all sorts of ridiculous stuff onto a tiny bike, (which is great) shy away from medium to serious mechanical mods. Lets be honest here, the trail is a tarted up version based off the supercub, which was derived from the grom platform. Bikes are there to make into what you want if you are so inclined. Adding a manual clutch or a 5th gear isnt really changing what it can do, it just changes how it does it. I mean, my grom still does what it always did. now it just does it a LOT better.

I am going to ride it on dirt/gravel every time I ride it out of the basement of the guest cottage. That is why I bought it.

Why would you buy a CT125 if you were not going to ride it on the dirt?

About three miles of gravel to get to pavement if I take a right when I get down the driveway or many miles of gravel if I take a left.

i use mine to commute and haul stuff. Mine will likely never see dirt. If i was going to ride dirt or offroad, it would be a bike with a proper off road suspension. just my .02.
