Greetings from Middle TN. New Trail 125 owner and member. Retired for a few years now and needed another boredom buster. Always wanted a Trail 70 growing up but the folks said, uh no! Finally got a Honda Elsinore 250 after graduation but that was many moons ago. Bought a Harley in my 40's but now it's time to slow down-a little. I've got 11 wooded acres with some trails and live in a small town so Stinger will go get the mail and hardware store runs with me. FYI, I've never named a bike before but what the heck. It's that time of year for yellow jackets, which coincidentally is the local school's mascot FWIW. First mod had to be the exhaust! Added some Grip Buddies and next will be USB, battery tender and horn while seeking out a new seat!! This seat and my boohiney just don't get along! I've already gained some valuable knowledge here on the forum so thanks and I look forward to diving in head first!

Welcome aboard!
This forum has been an interesting way to learn about the bikes, and the depth and breadth of experience is unique.
Bonus - people here seem genuinely interested in sharing experiences - not in being "the expert".
Enjoy!

Your first mistake was to fck with the stock exhaust?
Are you usually always so negative? It is his bike, let him do what he wants with it. If you don't like it, there is more tactful ways to word it.

I personally think the Yellow and black exhaust looks great @Smitty125. Have you thought about matching the engine guard and skid plate as well with paint?
