Back in May, I loaded up the little beast and set out from Jackson, MS to the northeast corner of the state (our most "mountainous" region). 6 days. 5 campsites. About 800 miles when it was all said and done. The Trail handled everything I threw at it fairly well. I put the Shinko 244s on it before hitting the road. I'd had the 241s on it and they wear out quickly with all the asphalt I ride on. The 244s are holding up much better and took the gravel and dirt like a champ. Overall, it was an excellent time and a good experience. Looking forward to my next one, but it's damn hot right now.

Looks like a great time! That’s one honking gas can you got there
Poor man's Rotopax. I used some bolts From Ace Hardware rather than those that came with it, but it was extremely handy to bring along on the trip. Got it on Amazon (link below).

Thanks for the tip! I’m trying to justify my rear box right now, fuel comes after. Just little bits at a time so the wife doesn’t notice. 😉
