I love this setup. I would like to hang a large-mouthed, spring-closed bag for stuff. That looks perfect, should be very handy. I use a an old IFAK on my handlebars, to carry my camera and other small items. MOLLE stuff is easy to adapt for motorcycle use.View attachment 341
Ordered a M3 Mototote. Thank you for the info. I also purchased the tire strap tie down. I think that will work nicely for a 3200 miles road trip.Mototote
The plate is a Rotopax Single Mounting Plate.Tony, I just installed my bracket like your third pic, and was just about to order the Rotopax bracket and one gallon can. After looking at the dimensions of the one gallon can, it's clear that a bracket needs to be offsets the can can clear the bottom of the rack. Where did you get the plate that you bolted to the bracket? I was thinking about using similar spacers, like the ones that came with the bracket, to mount a Rotopax mount directly to the bracket. That way the can would clear the bottom of the rack. I also don't want it too high as to interfere with any luggage on that side. Just talking out loud. Interested in any other options if anyone has any good ideas. Thank you.
Thank you.The plate is a Rotopax Single Mounting Plate.
I have a Bell open face that matches.I dig the adventure duck
Your bike mods are excellent .My enthusiasms sometimes get the best of me.
lol. Is there room for you on it? I wish I was half as mechanical.183 is back on the lift for more mods. Someone on the CT125 FB page posted about the GCraft Gen2 Side rack. I immediately ordered one from Webike. It was here in less than a week. I had to really do some McGyvering on the Gen 1 to get it to accept my Rotopax mount. The Gen 2 bolted right up, and I was able to mount the Rotopax adapter without having to resort to spacers and bend metal to make it sturdy. It's rock solid, and the the fuel and water containers have plenty of space to clear the rack.
In the coming days, I'll be adding bar risers, handhold, Diablo seat and YSS shocks from Beez. The seat and shocks should be here next week.

I am extremely interested in what you think of the seat.I put the Diablo seat on 183 today. I've heard good reports about it, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Looks great. The Desert Tan seat reminds me of the classic aesthetic on some Indian motorcycles and their leather luggage.
