👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I think we all know this is true. Thanks for linking to it, whenever someone asks me why I would want such a small bike I'm gonna send this to them.

#2: Parking
Ok, but like... parking like he did is just rude. That was right next to a ADA ramp for access. With the center stand and narrow width, you can park it flush with the building on the center stand and it barely takes any space. Which is another reason why it's awesome!! I used that yesterday when I went to Edmonds. 2 huge ass bikes parking in the motorcycling parking. My tiny Honda fit flush up against the end of the space. What are they gonna do, complain? YOU MEET THE NICEST PEOPLE ON A HONDA.

#3: Practicality
20220310_041931772_iOS.jpg 2x 6 packs, 2 pizzas and 6 wine bottles.

#4: Gas prices & efficient
20220310_042420079_iOS.jpg Filled the tank to the top after visiting my friend when it was approaching the empty line. I "only" get 102 mpg but that's for a lot of factors specific to me and terrain around here.

Yeah okay I'll give you that, I did park like a bit of a jack ass. Could have been flush with the building and taken up way less room.

Even then, it still illustrates a point: imagine trying to do that on a GSX-R or a Goldwing. Karens everywhere would sniff the air and say, "Smell that? **grabs other Karen's arm** THE SMELL OF SOMEONE TO TALK TO THE MANAGER ABOUT."

The Trail 125 on the other hand, I feel like it straddles the line of being taken seriously (by people who know) and not taken seriously (by people who complain to managers). Like... it kinda looks like a scooter in some ways, and those guys get a free pass EVERYWHERE. That ambiguity, combined with the novelty factor and generally that riders of this bike will be among the more sensible, nicer group... I think that means we can get away with a lot provided we don't push our luck too much.

It drives me nuts to see bikes blocking sidewalks or handicap spots, and it's an unfortunately common sight.
At stores where there isn't designated motorcycle parking I try to park the CT125 next to the bike racks where it's out of the way of pedestrian and shopping cart traffic, and doesn't take up more room than anyone else parking their non-standard bicycle setup (adult tricycle, bicycle with trailer, etc). There are often security guards standing right there who appreciate a hello. If that's not available I go for an odd or small parking spot to try to not take a premium spot since most stores by me have very small parking lots that are full most of the time, but If I'm somewhere else with a big empty lot like Wally World, or I'm riding a full size motorcycle, I just grab a regular space and position the bike within it so it's visible enough that someone driving down the parking aisle won't easily mistake it for an empty spot and end up pulling right into my motorcycle. One of my riding buddies in IL has disabled veteran plates and a cane, still gets hassled by Karens parking his hog in handicap spots 🤦‍♂️ There's no stopping the Karens, just got to not engage with them.

Bike racks are a good choice, just leave enough space to park in the end spots. Most bike racks are ridiculously bad in design and you can only reliably lock up to the two end spots using a pretty wide range of bikes. My local Costco is like this; if you turn up on a cargo bicycle you can only use the two end spots. Realistically it comes back to the "fly under the radar" idea - small bike, suspiciously nice riders, we'll get away with lots of things if we don't ruffle feathers :).

How do you ride a slow bike fast? A slow bike will not go fast!
I guess the saying should be, it's more fun to ride a slow bike as fast as it goes, than it is to ride a fast bike slow. But yeah you're right, slow bikes are slower than fast bikes and that's what makes them fun.

@calobster I liked and subscribed, when's the next video coming out :D?
hey thanks man I appreciate it, hopefully next video is coming out soon. Was thinking about doing an in-depth doug demuro style review of the bike. If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them!

I also own a 2019 Honda Monkey and am going to make a comparison video of the two bikes.

Again thanks for the sub man, really appreciate it.

1. How to do a burnout on each bike.
2. How to wheelie on each bike.
3. Which bike does better getting sick air on ramps.
4. Which bike attracts people to come over for reasons other than to yell at me for doing something illegal, because mine sure as hell isn't pulling anyone that's less than 55 or women who don't have names rhyming with "Maren who wants to speak to the manager".

For example, which bike is better at picking up chicks? The monkey, of course, it's a 2 seater. Duh.

Speaking a little more seriously, any customizations you've done, especially things you really like that you've switched out, and stuff you've tried that failed. Especially the things that didn't work. Like I know the 15T sprocket isn't worth investing in because it won't actually make the bike go faster.

Karens, now there's a subject!
