So, it finaly showed up . its not bad, for the money. I'll say, the beams exhaust is def a better build quality overall im sure, but the headpipe on this is a bit over 22MM ID, and 24mm OD, so its def better than stock. The welds are really good, and its as shown, one single unit.
the downsides, the rear mount hole needed t be opened up quite a bit to get it to mount, but that didnt bother me too much, but will def be an issue for a direct bolt on situation w less technically inclined individuals. its light, way lighter than stock.
there were no clearance issues on the stock skidplate, which was good.
one goof up I made. and its a bad one, i welded the wideband 02 bung 1.25 inches too low. DOH! I measured, went to dinner , came back and didn't offset the diameter of the bung. so at some point I'll need to relocate it to monitor the afrs..... but, for now its ok. i guess.
woops.
does it run better? yes. it holds speed better and def gets there quicker. I needed something a bit more for the 143 and cam. while the larger head pipe i made was better, this is even more so. I rode it a hair last night, then to work today, so its still adjusting the fueling a bit, but like said, def feels better judging by climbing speeds i usually hit on hills on the commute.
here's a few pics of the pipe. and where NOT to add the wideband bung. lol. on the bike, it basically looks stock.
