Gasket broke in two places. What a shitty design. Bit of a pain to do. Now its down for ten days while the part comes in. It was pretty clean too at 1000 miles. figure i'm only doing this every 10,000. lol.
Did you ultimately have to do anything with the auto clutch adjustment screw? Thanks for sharing your findings. I installed a magnetic oil drain plug at 0 miles in the hopes I could hold off on doing this task until 8k.

For a 2021-2022 (JA55) model:

Right side crankcase cover gasket
GASKET, R. CRANKCASE COVER 11394-K73-T60

Centrifugal oil spinner gasket
GASKET, OIL FILTER COVER 15439-KWW-741

Rear brake lever split pin. If you pull this near the rear brake pedal clevis to get the pedal out of the way you might want to replace it. That's not the only way to get the pedal out of the way for pulling the crankcase cover, but it's an easy way IMO.
PIN, COTTER (2.0X12) 94201-20120

Here are a few of the sites you can buy through if you're in the USA.

Off topic, but I conducted an oil spinner cleaning on my 2019 Honda Monkey @ 600 miles. The bits I found on the screen were extremely minimal. There was barely any crud in the spinner. I'm thinking of waiting until 8k on my Trail125. I'm hoping using the magnetic oil drain plug helps in the meantime. I know it was loaded down on the 600 mile oil change with bits on the Monkey and moreso on the Trail125.
Hearing you didn't find much bad bits or crud on your's is definitely good news for all of us 👍.

That's the normal service interval for the spinner...? Especially if you're doing the more frequent oil changes it will likely need cleaning but not be that gunked up, if you get what I mean.

Those gaskets can be out of stock for quite some time, I've had a 4 week wait period on the gaskets before. Two tricks I know of with them - 1) oily finger over the metal surface before adding the gasket, it will help when removing it next time, and 2) if you can't buy the gasket, they do sell sheets of gasket paper that you can cut your own gasket out of, and that's available on Amazon Prime.

Thats what my book says 8k. I saw where another Monkey owner did it at 600, so I figured I would. Hindsight I'd had waited to 8k definitely. I was able to reuse both the spinner and engine case gaskets though. Had new on hand. But that was pre-shortage of everything era. I'm such a putz on my bikes coupled with decent oil/changes + Gold Plug... I might even go past 8k. That's one thing I do envy on the 2023's
... stand alone filter. But I'm not upgrading my vintage 2021 just for that.
