The Red Donkey and I are taking off this morning for a couple of days , we need an escape. All dirt road riding to the remote Barkshed camping area in the Sylamore district of the Ozark national forest. It's roughly 100 miles to get there, and I'll explore the area for a day or two. I can't wait to get camp set up, pic's when I get back.OMC.JPG

Well hell, I rode over 100 miles to get to my favorite camping spot and it was closed. I checked the next camping area and found it full of drunks on ATV's, I turned around and rode home. BUT I still had a heck of a great day ride and saw some beautiful country! I shall do it again soon, but next time I look somewhere else. 212 miles for the day, not bad.burnt run 003.JPGburnt run 006.JPGburnt run 010.JPGburnt run 012.JPGburnt run 013.JPGburnt run 002.JPG

Thats what this bike is made for. I like 'em so much I am thinking about buying a 25ft. Airstream Inernational with hatch back to garage them and my old ass in relative comfort. Problem is they are 6 months or more back ordered so its going to be a 2022 model unless someone has one coming in that isn't pre sold. Getting dejuavu all over again seems like I just went thru this drill waiting on the CT125s to come in and get delivered.

The dirt roads here go on forever. if you and your fine red machine are ever in the area, I'll show you the sights.

I like the way you think. This is our restored ‘64 26’ Overlander. The receiver is bolted to the frame and it towed like a dream!

I posted to your other reply over here. <https://hondatrail125.com/index.php?threads/how-do-you-plan-to-use-your-ct.99/#post-3684> Then saw this where you answered one of my questions there. How did you mount the receiver/rail for the LRD to ride on.
The receiver was mounted and bolted to 2 frame crossmembers by a trained mechanic. I used a Black Widow aluminum carrier that I purchased online through Discount Ramps. Total setup works great! My Airstream has a freshwater tank up front so I made sure it was full to counteract the weight in the rear of the trailer.

I drilled holes in the case and bolted them on, they are easy to remove and solid when mounted.
