Dang it! That Treatland website is cool but takes some getting used to to navigate. Wanted the black ones but couldnt find them yesterday. All good, I'll sport the chrome to get me homeI mean at least the black ones are still available.
I just ordered a black set then thought about this. Did you order new correct size bushings that you talked about swapping or are they the ones out of the OE shocks?got em on, like they were made for bike. Only thing needed to do was to adjust height a bit, and swap out stock upper 12mm bushing for the 10mm one on the new shocks . just puch out old one, push in new one. no press needed. made a huge improvement. travel is the same. I have height and preload about in the middle. I would recommend using anti seize on all the fine aluminum threads. Highly recommend.
Seems you were correct or at least it worked for me.i pulled them out of the oe shocks i think.
I definitely pulled them out of the shocks.Seems you were correct or at least it worked for me.
3. I had to push out the old bushings from my old suspension into the new suspension as the ones that came with the suspension were too small. Fairly easy to do but required strong thumbs.
