If you are not in a hurry to get them, Treatland usually have a sale for Black Friday and Christmas. If you're signed up for an account there's an option in the account settings to receive their newsletter to find out about it.

I mean at least the black ones are still available.
Dang it! That Treatland website is cool but takes some getting used to to navigate. Wanted the black ones but couldnt find them yesterday. All good, I'll sport the chrome to get me home

got em on, like they were made for bike. Only thing needed to do was to adjust height a bit, and swap out stock upper 12mm bushing for the 10mm one on the new shocks . just puch out old one, push in new one. no press needed. made a huge improvement. travel is the same. I have height and preload about in the middle. I would recommend using anti seize on all the fine aluminum threads. Highly recommend.

I just ordered a black set then thought about this. Did you order new correct size bushings that you talked about swapping or are they the ones out of the OE shocks?

Can't believe how fast I got my YSS shocks from Thailland..
4 days..kind of a pain in rear putting the right shock on.
So much better than stock..I'm happy for $133..
.even came with bushings..

i pulled them out of the oe shocks i think.
Seems you were correct or at least it worked for me.

I got them mounted and only got to take it for a several mile ride but even for a lighter rider like myself (160 + instacrate and maybe 15lb bag on the rack). A noticeable improvement IMO. I hit a notorious section of road that I always stand up for or the bike would always start a rhythm of bouncing that would become a bit sketchy if seated and even bounce several times in the back when standing and even though I stood for it it basically went through the bumps and settled immediately with no additional bounces. Exactly what I was looking for.

Got the Treatland shocks installed over the weekend. I think the black ones would have looked better but I'm happy with these. Took it for a test ride up to the top of Mt. Umunhum. They work great. Much better than stock.
