Nice, glad to see the other color and folks that buy it.

I prefer the red, but like them both. A sibling is planning to get the green one so we don't have the same color.

I would appreciate a summary of differences as well. I have a 22 and was going to import the green plastics for the JA55 models overseas.

All that I know of is the new engine revision, the small difference in left-side frame tube cover plastics, and an adjustable rear shock.

What about the rack, fender, etc? Paint?

Here are the differences as I know them:

  • New JA65 engine, which is actually from the Honda Dax 125. We don't have those in North America but I have seen many in Thailand. This new engine has a higher compression ratio (10:1 vs 9.3:1) and an oil filter, user reports seem to say there's not much of a power difference between the 2023 and previous models.
  • 5-position adjustable rear suspension preload. Honda Thailand told me in person that these new shocks will fit the previous models, I actually have a set that I'm waiting to install on my 2021.
  • Front Meter Stay is different, and has mounting points for new Honda accessories, like the OEM Front Rack and OEM Windshield. I have swapped the 2023 Meter Stay onto my 2021 and am running the OEM Front rack and OEM Windshield. Users on other forums also talk about the top fork clamp (some call tripleclamp) being different and beefier.
  • New colors
  • New kickstarter arm, supposed to be more out of the way than the previous gen. I imagine it will fit the previous gen, but can't confirm.
  • New gearing 14/38 vs previous gen 14/39.
  • 0.4inch more fork travel
I believe basically everything else is identical.

Great to know, thank you!

Where are you finding 2023 parts diagrams/ordering from?

Also, that gearing change is pretty dramatic! Type-o?

Made a typo on the gearing. It is correct now.

Japan Webike is where we all got ours. But that was before Honda brought the new model to the US. I imagine you can get the parts direct from Honda now in the US.

Nice to have a filter but not a big enough change overall to care
  • 5-position adjustable rear suspension preload. Honda Thailand told me in person that these new shocks will fit the previous models, I actually have a set that I'm waiting to install on my 2021. These would be nice to have, I need to get the P/N so that I can put them on my '22

I have swapped the 2023 Meter Stay onto my 2021 and am running the OEM Front rack and OEM Windshield. Users on other forums also talk about the top fork clamp (some call tripleclamp) being different and beefier. I need to pick one of these up simply to run the OEM rack
  • New colors The Green is glorious and I am jealous but I fear getting all of the plastics and painted parts will be too pricey to bother
  • New kickstarter arm, supposed to be more out of the way than the previous gen. I imagine it will fit the previous gen, but can't confirm. I am semi interested in getting one for my '22, it's never been a problem until this past weekend when we did a 110 mile ride. I noticed it bouncing into my heel at times off-road
  • New gearing 14/38 vs previous gen 14/39. Meh
  • 0.4inch more fork travel This is a nice upgrade over the previous years
I believe basically everything else is identical.

For those interested in the kickstart arm swap. I just got home this morning and tried swapping them.
The kickstart arms are not interchangeable. Shaft diameter on the ‘23 is 2-3mm smaller that the ‘21.

Thanks for the data on the rear suspension, at 150 lbs I don’t need a lot of adjustment so maybe someone will part with their set when they upgrade!
