Hey everyone,
Has anyone paid to have their ct-125 repainted? I am in the states and not a huge fan of the color red but I love the look of this bike. I am not savvy enough to take on a project of my own like this so I was just looking to see if anyone has experience doing something like this. Thanks!

The only experience I have painting bikes (or ATV's) has required tearing them down to the frame. For this bike since there are so many plastic body part and pieces (which will be hard/difficult to paint properly) I'd recommend looking into a vinyl wrap. They're popular in my area and if done properly can look as good as a custom paint job. Bonus too that if you get tired of the look or want to change it for some reason you can just un-wrap it and be back to stock.

Sorry for the noob-y question but for vinyl wrap do you need to strip the bike down? Thanks!

@CaptainNags on this forum painted (and since sold) their CT125. Some info in their posts.
Many people in Thailand and Japan have repainted the CT125 just about any color you can think of at this point.
If you're not savvy enough to take it on yourself, talk to a local paint shop, bring the bike in, and get an estimate.

I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear. I meant to say that having your bike (or parts of your bike) vinyl wrapped will *not* require a full tear-down of your bike like painting it (properly) would.
