Well, there were the guys doing the Cannonball Run on the C125's that we can pull some information from.My CT125's motor will go through a little oil when it's run at wide open throttle for a long time, but not that much. I check the oil almost every time I refuel and have very rarely had to top it off, maybe once every thousand miles. Losing a little oil is typical of an air cooled motor, but not going through the dip stick in 250 miles.
There's too much footage for me to find it, but QuasiMotard on the Super Cub Cannonball run said that they were adding a quart of oil every 1000 mi when running their bikes at nearly WOT the entire ride, which seems on the high but believable side of things. Also that they could feel it when the oil was getting low, which I also believe. Granted that's a C125 not a CT125 but the engines aren't so different to expect that much difference. I don't remember DaBinChe mentioning anything about it but I wasn't paying that close attention to his content. Keep in mind that these guys were cranking out 1000 mi every 2-3 days, so they were being HARD on their bikes.
Just about anyone owning a bike with this motor is probably treating it nicer than they were treating their Supercubs. There are small differences so it's not a perfect match, but it's more like blood vs. valencia oranges, not apples to oranges.
