From the other thread, $5300 otd is pretty typical. I am on the lists for 3 dealerships within 300 miles of me and have not heard from any of them since early November, when I picked up my Trail and stopped calling every couple of weeks.

Supply chain issues seem to be getting worse; Ford has stopped taking orders on certain vehicles because they don’t have production capacity. I don’t have any idea when it is going to get better.

Lol. Mine is at D2 in Spartanburg. Gave them the check and signed all the paperwork but last I heard they were still waiting on the recall part. Were you down that way or at the Rock Hill shop?

honda won’t release the bike until the recall is done. So my wait continues.

Thanks for the tip. I think I was annoying Travis last week about the shifter availability. Hopefully I can go pick it up this weekend!

I was just quoted $6,300.00 out the door in Arizona. A Las Vegas dealer wanted $7,300.00 out the door. Price gouging!

Names, I want names! I'm happy to shame GO AZ in Flagstaff for wanting $5800 initially, sold it for $5300 otd eventually...

Here is one pre "upgraded" here in Flagstaff

Which Vegas dealer?
I honestly don't remember which Honda dealer in Vegas. I found it for sale and called them, and they told me MSRP was $4995.00. So they called back and said they were marking it up $1,000.00 and that's what is was WITHOUT tax and license.

That's still useful. It's likely the same one that both myself and @Tumbleweedtattooer are waitlisted at. MSRP $4995 plus fees is actually still within reason; we've seen a lot of these lately

I got a quote on a New Honda Trail 125 - $3,899 PLUS $1,298 for freight and set up. That seemed high to me... Thoughts?
Mine was $5,450 for the bike and the set up and freight. So you are right in the ballpark.

I paid $5,390 out the door in Klamath Falls, Oregon, no sales tax, no registration, since I was bringing it back to California. The 125's are so rare at dealers, that if you want one, you pay what they're asking. I'm happy to have found one, and they were very nice at the dealership.
Same here - well, $5,450. I got mine this past weekend and it is VIN ending in 3050 - that is 3,050th bike sent to the US.

I picked mine up a week ago. I don't have the numbers in front of me. But it was between $4900 and $5000. That's counting my VA sales tax. I like to dicker on price. But I was lucky to get my hands on one so I had to pay asking price. Also burnt about a $100 in gas driving out of state to pick it up. I put my first 20 miles on it today. I think I'm gonna really like it.

Dealer nearby has 2. They asked $6600. My counter was $5000. They lowered to $6250. I walked. Supply and demand. I want it; don't need it, it's a toy. I will try later. :( The showroom is begining to fill again; a good sign. Unfortunately I imagine inflation on next year's model will be significantly higher. Did I goof?

I paid $20.00 more... It was in the middle of nowhere WV, so the destination charge (probably BS) was high. It was $500.00 above MSRP plus destination and docs. But, I figure 125 to 150 mpg will make me happy in the coming years.

My average has been around 95 mpg, but I've got mountains to contend with and I'm still very happy with that. The only thing I've got that's more efficient requires pedaling.

Got three quotes. One out of SC = the dest & prep was almost 1/2 the cost of the bikes MRSP. I called and told them how crazy they were. They came down to 5500.00
The other 2 quotes in NC were 5149 & 5247.
