I am planning on installing some red reflective tape on the front and back wheels.
$10 for added visibility/safety?
I shall update with a picture when it is installed.

I thought of doing this too...but I don't ride at night...in the burbs, blind drivers don't see bikes period...on country roads, deers don't do any better...

Sometimes, I may need to ride at night just to get to the beach to surf cast afore dawn.
Yep, it's a long ways from the pahkin' lot to where the fish are bitin'.

Thinking of using soft straps and bungie cords for the rods and a Packout box.

Looking forward to seeing a photo, I think those will look sharp even just as a red accent on the wheels. Another idea I have seen is reflective spoke skins.

I have seen photos of them on the CT125 Hunter Cub in Japan, I believe they are just using universal ones meant for dirtbikes and cutting them to length. Will see if I can dig up any more info.
Here is a video of black spoke wraps being installed so you can see the process:
There are 18 inner spokes and 18 outer spokes per wheel, so 36 spokes per wheel and 72 spokes total on the motorcycle.

I tried putting on RED reflective tape on the rims but it was SO hard trying to align the strips correctly that when the 4th strip came loose on the rear tire even though I cleaned the rim and wiped it down with rubbing alcohol before applying
the tape, i gave up in frustration. The motorcycle rims look like they are coated similar to the Teflon pans hanging at the store.

It's the textured paint that they used on the wheels...you'd have to use glue that would seep into the texture for the decal to hold...
