Two gal Rotopax gas tank. Almost like it was built for it. Fits really nice and the tank is extremely study. I build my additional load right on top of it.

Well I bite the bullet last night and bought a new ( old stock) auxiliary fuel tank and retaining bracket for my CT 125. I’ve looked at all options and just thought the old CT 110 Axillary tanks look the part. Mini moto are making a bracket to fit this tank and bracket directly to the CT125.
I bought it in Japan and will be going there later in the year and will bring it back.923EDE2A-68B9-4C22-8F42-FCE8303F0534.jpeg it back. The pic attached is not the actual tank and retaining strap I have bought, just for reference. The one I bought is a boxed complete set of parts and tank. Below picture shows the mini moto bracket on the CT125. Note the retaining bracket is upside down. I wonder if this is so it fits better under the CT125 carrier? I will find out!

Yeah, I thought there were discontinued! I bought a whole ct90 that didn’t run just for the tank, changed the clutch plates and it did kick right over tho...

The auxiliary tank is a genuine Honda part from a CT90 and 110. They have been discontinued for years. I have tried for the last few months to find one without luck.
So turned to Japan. I got a Japanese colleague to bid on it on a Japanese yahoo auction. It was in Japanese hence needing help.
The ‘finding’ is all part of the fun.

When I was restoring old Hondas, finding parts was, indeed, part of the fun. Congratulations on a great find.

The bladder is a great idea, I've been carting around a 1 gal plastic can, works great but as Migolito mentions it still takes up room when its empty.

This is my first experience carrying extra fuel and has been a real eye opener as far as placement. So far I've put the can in one of my duffles on the rear rack. Full forward but left side of the duffle. My last few trips have included a lot of technical slow speed maneuvering through rocky, uneven two track with gullies etc. Having the can not centered is very noticeable, and caused me more than a few unexpected white knuckle moments.

I initially thought about getting the side rack and can, just to free up space in my bag. But now have to say if technical riding is on the agenda, that is a poor solution in my opinion.

I like tha 2 liter, I'll have to figure a way to mount one up. My 3 liter can is fine, but 2 is enough for my area.

I decided to to with the Desert Fox 3 liter bags (.67gal) that I can lash anywhere including on front side of my Milwaukee crate as a back rest. Ordered two today from Twisted Throttle since they where in stock. Don't expect to use much but will carry as part of each bikes support kit to have when in area where gas might be problematic due to remote location in woods riding over 50 miles one way.

Due to this bikes on road performance, so far I have planned my trips around dirt backroads and extra gas allows me to stay away from civilization longer. First one was 230 miles, I was many miles from a gas station.

Does this come with the can too or just the mounting equipment. I was looking at ebay and can't get a response. The wording is a bit weird so i was just wondering. Its pricey but yes it looks the part.
